Summer is over, and it's just starting to get chilly again. It's always good to have a collection of basic sweaters to throw on, however, I am such a sucker for a colorful and more statement-style sweater. Here is a shortlist of some of my current favorite sweaters.
Mother - The Boat Square Jumper
Absolutely in love with this sweater. Mother denim makes more than just denim, and they make sure to do it well. This sweater is made out of alpaca and is uber soft. With a pair of denim and some cute sneakers, you're set.
Sea NY - Santos Sweater
Such a beautiful sweater from Sea NY. It also comes in white, but I love how the lace detailing looks in black - a little more subtle but still gorgeous. It would be really nice tucked into a colorful skirt, with some black booties.
Baum Und Pferdgarten - Cicilla Vest
I saw this sweater vest in Nordstrom this summer, but it's just too gorgeous to not be worn in any season. It would be so cute paired with a white long sleeve button-up dress underneath.
Sundry - Pop Embroidery Oversized Hoodie
A basic and casual hoodie from Sundry, but so fun! I love the colorful stitching details all around the hoodie. Just a good basic to pair with your favorite sweatpants or jeans.
Rixo - Lula Roundneck Jumper
This sweater really reminds me of German fashion, with the floral collar. I think it would look adorable paired with a white skirt and some tall brown boots.
Hope Macaulay - Colossal Knit Pullover
Okay so $878 is a lot for a sweater, but I just had to add this one to the list of favorites. I can understand why it costs that much, as it's handmade. This sweater doesn't need much else besides anything basic paired with it.
Farm Rio - Abstract Scarf Sweater
Farm Rio has recently become a favorite brand of mine, because of all of their tropical prints and vibrant colors. This sweater cleary fits that role. I also love the puff sleeves on this one.
MSGM - Patchwork Wool Sweater
What a unique hooded sweater by MSGM. The patchwork, hood, and loose threads just create such a fun twist on a sweater. I also love this color scheme.
